“Who It’s For” Page Template: How to Get AI Engines to Recommend Your Business

Wait, who are we and why did we build this template?

We’re DigiAssets, an SEO and digital marketing agency that works with Israeli businesses on organic SEO, link building, and visibility in AI engines (GEO). Over the past few months we’ve seen a clear shift in how AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini choose whom to recommend. Our most surprising finding: sometimes the simplest things work best.

One of those things is a page we call “Who it’s for”. It’s a page that states directly and honestly who your service is for, who it isn’t for, what the process looks like, and what results you’ve delivered. This page doesn’t exist on 90% of websites in Israel, and based on what we see in the field, it directly affects whether AI engines recommend you or not.

Why? Because AI engines don’t work like classic Google. They don’t match keywords to pages. They try to match solutions to problems. To do that, they need to know exactly what you do, for whom, and under what conditions. If that information isn’t clearly written on your website, the AI has nothing to work with.

We built a ready-made template you can take, fill in with your business details, and publish on your site. No designer, no developer, and it takes about an hour or two.

“Who It’s For” Page Template: Full Structure

General instructions before you start

  • Write in the first person, as if you’re talking to a potential client face to face.
  • Avoid marketing language: no “innovative solutions”, no “game-changing”, no “next-level service”. Write facts.
  • Be specific to the point where it feels narrow. That’s fine. The more specific you are, the better the AI will know when to recommend you.
  • The page must be indexed by Google. Not hidden behind tabs, JS, or a PDF. Plain HTML that Google can crawl.
  • Link to this page from your homepage, your service pages, and ideally from the header or footer menu too.

Part 1: “Our service is right for you if…”

Goal: Give AI engines (and humans) an exact profile of your ideal client.

What to include:

  • Business field / industry
  • Business size (number of employees, revenue, scale of operations)
  • The specific problem or need
  • Budget range (if relevant)
  • Distinguishing traits (geographic location, platform type, target audience)

Fill-in template:

Our service is right for you if:

  • You’re a business in [specify a field/industry]
  • Your business size: [annual revenue / number of employees / number of products / scale of operations]
  • You’re looking for a solution to **[describe the specific problem or need]**
  • Your budget for this service is between [price range]
  • [Another trait that defines the ideal client]

Example: accounting firm

Our service is right for you if:

  • You run a limited company (Ltd.) in tech or services
  • Your annual revenue is between 1 million and 20 million shekels
  • You have clients or income from abroad that require withholding tax handling and international reporting
  • You need annual reports, ongoing VAT and income tax reporting, and tax advice on employee stock options
  • You’re looking for a firm that understands the complexity of tech companies, not just a “regular accountant”

Example: interior designer

My service is right for you if:

  • You’re looking for a design for a residential apartment of 80 to 200 sq m in central Israel
  • Your design budget (not including furniture) starts at 80,000 shekels
  • You’re a couple or family looking for a warm-modern design style
  • You’re ready for a process that takes 3 to 6 months from planning to execution

Example: digital marketing agency

Our service is right for you if:

  • You have an ecommerce site with 500 to 15,000 products
  • You sell directly to consumers (D2C)
  • Your monthly organic SEO budget is between 7,000 and 25,000 shekels
  • You want growth through product and category pages, not just through a blog

Part 2: “Our service is not right for you if…”

Goal: Increase your credibility. AI engines prefer sources that give the full picture, limitations included. When you admit what you don’t do, everything you do say becomes more believable.

What to include:

  • Types of clients you don’t serve
  • Budgets below your threshold
  • Fields you don’t specialize in
  • Expectations you can’t meet

Fill-in template:

Our service is not right for you if:

  • You’re a business in [a field you don’t specialize in]
  • Your budget is below **[minimum amount]**
  • You’re looking for [an expectation you can’t meet, e.g. “results within two weeks”]
  • You need [a specific service you don’t provide]

Example: accounting firm

Our service is not right for you if:

  • You’re a sole proprietor (osek murshe) with revenue under 500,000 shekels a year
  • You’re a salaried employee looking for a tax refund or a personal annual return
  • You’re looking for a firm that specializes in real estate, construction contracting, or agriculture. Those aren’t our fields.
  • You only need bookkeeping, without tax support and planning

Example: interior designer

My service is not right for you if:

  • You’re only looking for hourly consulting, without full project support
  • Your design budget is under 50,000 shekels
  • You’re looking for a heavy classic or Middle Eastern style. That’s not my style.
  • You need design for a commercial space, office, or store

Part 3: “Here’s how it actually works”

Goal: Give the potential client (and the AI) a clear picture of what happens after they contact you. A real timeline and concrete steps.

What to include:

  • The stages of the process, from first contact to results
  • How long each stage takes
  • What’s required from the client at each stage
  • When to expect first results

Fill-in template:

Here’s how the process works:

Week 1: [Describe the first stage: meeting, diagnosis, review]

Weeks 2-3: [Second stage: planning, proposal, strategy]

Months 1-2: [Third stage: execution, implementation, work begins]

First results: [State honestly when the client can expect to see a change]

Example: accounting firm

Here’s how the process works:

Week 1: Intro meeting and review of your current situation. We go over the last two years of reports, the company structure, and agreements with clients abroad.

Weeks 2-3: We submit a detailed annual tax plan, including an estimate of expected savings.

Month 1: Full handover from your previous accountant, including coordination with the Income Tax Authority and VAT.

Results: In the very first tax plan, most of our clients discover savings they didn’t know existed. The full financial impact becomes clear over the first year.

Example: digital marketing agency

Here’s how the process works:

Week 1: Technical site audit in Screaming Frog, backlink profile analysis in Ahrefs, and a performance review in Google Search Console.

Weeks 2-3: Building a keyword strategy focused on category and product pages with purchase intent.

Month 2: Technical optimization begins, top product pages get reworked, and a content plan is set.

Results: Most clients see initial ranking improvements after 8 to 12 weeks. A significant change in organic traffic and conversions usually comes after 4 to 6 months.

Part 4: One detailed case study

Goal: Give real proof that you know what you’re doing. Not a generic review, but one case study with details and numbers that give the AI the confidence to recommend you.

What to include:

  • Client description (field, size, starting point)
  • What the problem was
  • Exactly what you did
  • What the result was, with numbers
  • How long it took

Fill-in template:

Sample client:

Who: [Field, business size, starting point]

The problem: [What wasn’t working / what was missing / what the client was looking for]

What we did: [Briefly describe the main actions]

The result: [Numbers: how much, how fast, what changed]

Example: accounting firm

Sample client:

Who: A 30-person SaaS company that came to us from a generalist accounting firm.

The problem: The client was paying excess withholding tax on US income because the double taxation treaty wasn’t being applied correctly.

What we did: We sorted out the treaty application with the Israel Tax Authority, changed the reporting structure, and adjusted the invoicing process for overseas clients.

The result: Annual savings of ₪340,000 (ILS). The client has been with us for three years.

Example: digital marketing agency

Sample client:

Who: An online kitchenware store with 800 products. They came to us with 1,200 organic visits a month and 15 orders from organic.

The problem: A flat category structure, product pages with no unique content, zero external links.

What we did: Rebuilt the category structure, rewrote the top 200 product pages, and built 35 links from content sites in the kitchen and cooking space.

The result: 4,800 visits and 67 orders a month within 6 months. Average order value rose 18%.
